The invention relates to the use of at least one heat- induced gelling polymer and of at least one water- miscible volatile organic solvent in a cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion or a water-in-oil-in-water multiple emulsion containing, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one agent for absorbing UV radiation, for the purpose of reducing or eliminating the effect of migration of the composition outside the application area. The invention also relates to the use of at least one heat-induced gelling polymer and of at least one water- miscible volatile organic solvent in a cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion or a water-in-oil-in-water multiple emulsion containing, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one agent for absorbing UV radiation, for the purpose of improving the cosmetic pleasantness and the comfort of use; and more particularly for improving the spreading, improving the ocular comfort and reducing the effect of running of the composition on keratin materials.
