摘要： A machine for applying outserts (24) to articles (18) such as bottles has a turntable (10) driven about a vertical axis (11). A glue roller (30) and an outsert dispenser (35) are positioned in that order of turntable rotation adjacent the periphery of the turntable (10). A circular array of bottle support assemblies (14) are mounted concentric to the turnable axis. A closed loop cam groove (53) positioned below the turntable surrounds its rotational axis. Cam followers (54) in the groove (53) are connected to mechanisms that drive shafts (57) on which the bottle support assemblies (14) are mounted rotationally in response to turntable rotation. The support assemblies (14) have a bottle holder plate (15) on them in which plate (15) there is a cavity (16) for holding the bottle (18) to which an outsert (24) is to be adhered on a given outside wall area.
