    • The present invention relates to a high efficiency plant expression promoter from Capsicum annuum serine hydroxymethyl transferase gene and uses thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a high efficiency plant expression promoter and 5 '-untranslated region (5'-UTR) from Capsicum annuum serine hydroxymethyl transferase gene, a high efficiency plant expression vector comprising the same, a plant transformed with said vector, a process for high efficiency expression of a foreign gene by using said vector, and a transformed plant which expresses with high efficiency a foreign gene based on said process and seeds of the transformed plant. According to the present invention, the gene expression in Arabidopsis thaliana can be improved as much as about five times higher than CaMV35S promoter from cauliflower mosaic virus, that is conventionally used. Further, it was found that the transient expression was enhanced almost 30 times in a callus tissue and a leaf tissue of a plant. Consequently, the claimed invention can be advantageously used for the development of a transformed plant which is desired to be used for large-scale production of a useful material.
    • 本发明涉及辣椒辣椒素羟基甲基转移酶基因的高效植物表达启动子及其用途。 更具体地说,本发明涉及一种高效率植物表达启动子和来自辣椒辛基丝氨酸羟甲基转移酶基因的5'非翻译区(5'-UTR),含有其的高效植物表达载体,用所述载体转化的植物 ,通过使用所述载体高效表达外源基因的方法,以及基于所述方法和转化植物的种子以高效率表达外源基因的转化植物。 根据本发明,拟南芥中的基因表达可以比通常使用的花椰菜花叶病毒的CaMV35S启动子高约五倍。 此外,发现瞬时表达在植物的愈伤组织和叶组织中增加了近30倍。 因此,所要求保护的发明可有利地用于开发期望用于大规模生产有用材料的转化植物。
