摘要： The invention provides a method and apparatus to be executed in a first UE (User Equipment), applied to identification for handover from a current serving network to a target network, the method comprising the steps of: acquiring handover status information for a second UE communicating with it; and sending identity confirmation information to the second UE according to the handover status information so that the second UE can validate its identity, wherein the handover status information and the identity confirmation information are transmitted via different networks. With the proposed method and apparatus, the handover procedure between two wireless networks can be facilitated even in the case of not providing identification information of the calling party of the handover call.

摘要： The present invention provides a method and system for billing communication of a mobile terminal that is seamlessly roaming between two different wireless networks. The system provided by the invention collects billing information incurred by the communication of the mobile terminal via the second wireless network, and receive the billing information incurred by communication of the mobile terminal via the first wireless network, and then produces a corresponding bill record based on the billing information incurred by communication of the mobile terminal via both the first and the second wireless networks. Using the system and method as described above, a network operator can accurately and conveniently record the fees incurred by communication of the mobile terminal via different networks respectively and the total fees. The terminal subscriber can also get a more economical and reasonable account bill.

摘要： The present invention proposes a communication system and method for the associative communication of a mobile terminal and a fixed terminal. The system receives the register information from a mobile terminal, and then establishes a mapping relationship between the mobile terminal and a corresponding fixed terminal according to the register information of the mobile terminal. When some other communication device wants to communicate with the mobile terminal, the mapping relationship will be sent to the communication device so that the communication device can establish a communication connection with the corresponding fixed terminal to reduce the cost or enhance QOS.

摘要： The present invention takes the advantage of the wireless local area network (WLAN) resources in hotspots for voice and data connections and enables seamless handover between wireless wide area network (WWAN) and WLAN and vice versa, thus achieving cost savings for the end users and WWAN resources savings for the wireless operators. According to one embodiment of the invention, a mobile terminal having WWAN and WLAN interfaces establishes a WWAN call with a called mobile terminal via a WWAN. If a WLAN is present, the mobile terminal sends a handover request together with its network address to the called mobile terminal, using a short message service (SMS) technique or a watermarking technique, for initiating a WLAN call with the called mobile terminal via a WLAN. After the WLAN call is established with the called mobile terminal, the mobile terminal releases the WWAN call.
