摘要： The present invention relates to a method for a media-on-demand server of handling streaming of media based on media requests received from user operated clients, wherein said server receives media requests from a user operated client and streams said media to said user operated client, wherein the handling of streaming comprises using a presence service adapted for determining the presence status of said user operating said client and only streaming user requested media if said user has a predefined presence status. Thereby it is possible at the server to check the presence status of the user before streaming media requested by the user, and it can e.g. be avoided that a user not being present at the client receives the stream of media, without being able to enjoy the requested media.

摘要： The invention relates to a system for address auto-configuration for a first network element (201), being part of a first network (203) connected to a second network (207) through a gateway element (209). The first network element transmits an address inquiry message to a second network element (205) requesting an address of the gateway element (209). The second network element (205) in response transmits an address response message comprising a gateway address of the gateway element (209). Upon receiving the address response message, the first network element generates a first address in response to the gateway address. The gateway element (209) may specifically be an IPv4 home router for a private home network and the first network element (201) may be a combined IPv6/IPv4 network element. 摘要： This invention relates to a method of managing a media system (103, 201, 208) with a group identifier in a network (210) of media systems. The invention further relates to a media system for managing a network of media systems with a group identifier. The media system can be may be a set-top box, a TV, a PC, a DVD player, a radio, a screen, a camera or a VCR. Said method includes the steps of determining a status of the network, wherein the status represents the group identifier, presence and / or absence of at least one media system; and determining the group identifier for at least one media system based on the determined status. Said step of determining the group identifier comprises the alternative four steps of resetting the group identifier, when said media system is disconnected from the network; or giving an existing group identifier to a first media system (201), when said media system without a group identifier is connected to a second media system (202) having said existing group identifier; or keeping separate group identifiers to a third (203) and a fourth media system (204), when the third and the fourth media system are connected to the network; or giving a first group identifier specified by a user, when a fifth media system (205) is connected to the network to one or more media systems where none of these has a group identifier, and assigning the first group identifier to all of said media systems. Said method further includes the step of: giving a second group identifier specified by a user to a sixth media system (206). Hereby, it is made easy for a user to add, move and remove media systems without the user interaction, since the media systems themselves determine the group identifiers.
