摘要： A low-pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp (1) has a discharge vessel (3) enclosing, in a gastight manner, a discharge space provided with a filling of mercury and a rare gas. The discharge vessel (3) comprises means for maintaining an electric discharge in the discharge space. A portion of the surface (15) of the discharge vessel (3) facing the discharge space is provided with a protective layer (16) comprising yttrium oxide or aluminum oxide and further comprises a borate and/or a phosphate of an alkaline earth metal and/or of scandium, yttrium, or a further rare earth metal. Preferably, the alkaline earth metal is calcium, strontium, and/or barium. Preferably, the further rare earth metal is lanthanum, cerium, and/or gadolinium. The lamp according to the invention has a comparatively low mercury consumption.

摘要： The invention provides a lighting device (200) comprising a light tile (1). The light tile comprises a combination of a first light source (10) (with a first color temperature), a second light source (20) (with a second color temperature) and an at least partially transparent sheet (30) which is arranged in between the light sources. Light having a third color temperature is generated. The lighting device further comprises a controller (500) for controlling one or more parameters selected from the group consisting of the intensity of the first radiation and the intensity of the second radiation. Advantageously, such light tile may be relatively flat. A further advantage is that the light tile may be construed to have the ballast integrated in the light tile. Further, the color temperature may be easily varied, for instance by selecting light sources having different color temperatures and by varying the intensity of the light sources.

Preferably, the hydrogen gas pressure is in the range between 10-2 Pa and 1 Pa. A low-pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp with a good maintenance is obtained.

摘要： The invention relates to a reactive oxygen species (ROS) generator, a washing device and a washing method using such a ROS generator. The reactive oxygen species (ROS) generated by such a generator provide excellent washing power, and degrade organic stains rapidly to environmentally acceptable products. 摘要： A low-pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp is provided with a discharge vessel (10). The discharge vessel (10) encloses a discharge space (11) provided with a filling of mercury and a rare gas in a gastight manner. According to the invention, the discharge vessel is made from a glass comprising silicon oxide and sodium oxide in the following percentages by weight: SiO2 60 - 80 wt.% and Na2O 10 - 20 wt.%. Preferably, the glass composition comprises SiO2 70-75 wt.%, Na2O 15-18 wt.% and K2O 0.25-2 wt.%, so that this glass is a so-called sodium-rich glass as compared to the customarily used mixed alkali glass. At least a part of an inner surface of the discharge vessel (10) is provided with a transparent layer (16) comprising a borate or a phosphate of an alkaline-earth metal and/or of scandium, yttrium or another rare earth metal. Preferably, the alkaline-earth metal is calcium, strontium and/or barium. Preferably, the transparent layer (16) comprises yttrium borate and strontium borate. Preferably, the transparent layer (16) has a thickness between 5 nm and 200 nm. A luminescent layer (17) is preferably provided on top of the transparent layer in the discharge vessel. The discharge lamp according to the invention has a comparatively high maintenance.
