摘要： A curved panel in which various shapes of a curved surface can easily be obtained only by curving the body proper of the panel and by fixing reinforcing plates thereto. An object of this curved panel is to provide such various effects as: size reduction in the working equipment; adaptability to a variety of specifications; cut in manufacturing cost; and more refined shape of the curved surface. For attaining the object, the curved panel is provided with deformed and bent pieces to permit bending of a surface plate and to be formed on two opposing sides of the surface plate capable of elastic deformation, and reinforcing bent pieces are formed on the other opposing two sides for keeping these two sides straight. On the other hand, reinforcing plates are formed to be smaller in curvature than said specified surface. Reinforcing plates are fixed to the forcedly curved pieces of the panel proper so that elastic shape-keeping force by which the panel proper tends to be restored to a flat surface may be balanced with elastic shape-keeping force of the reinforcing plate in order to provide a specified curved surface.

摘要： When the back rest is turned down rearward, a seat portion moves forward so that one can assume a recumbent posture. This chair solves simultaneously the two problems that when the back rest is turned down backward, the center of gravity moves backward and a user is apt to fall down backward and that when the back rest is moved backward, the motion of one's back is not synchronized with that of the back rest and one receives an offensive feel. Therefore, in the chair of the present invention, the front end side of the seat portion is supported by a support base portion in such a manner as to be movable back and forth, a balance member is disposed below this seat portion, a support point portion set between the front and rear points of application of the balance member is supported by the support base portion, the back rest is disposed at the back of this balance member, the rear end side of the seat portion is supported movably back and forth at the rear point of application of the balance member through a seat receiving means and vertical motion of the front point of application of the balance member is converted to the advance motion of the seat portion by a motion conversion means. When the seat moves forward, its rear end side sinks so that the user is not given the feel of sliding forward. Resilient urging means is also disposed in order to urge rearward the seat portion and to provide the back rest with the self returning force in the forward direction. Furthermore, the seat receiving means has the function of generating the seat traction force in the rear direction in accordance with the weight of the user so as to increase or decrease automatically the initial repulsive force of the back rest in accordance with the weight of the user. Lock means is disposed to lock the motion of the seat portion and that of the back rest.

摘要： A desk whose top board is connected to legs so as to be capable of being assembled and disassembled. The desk is intended to save labor required by assembling and disassembling operations with component parts reduced in number necessary for connecting the top board to the leg. For satisfying the purpose, a rigid board is employed as a top board and the legs are each provided with an upwardly directed surface to be connected to the underside of the top board as well as with a rigid arm to extend along the forward edge of the top board at the upper end thereof. The top board and the leg are connected to each other through a tapered engaging part and a pawl-type engaging part. The tapered engaging part is composed so that a recessed tapered surface provided on the forward edge of the top board and a projecting tapered surface on the arm of the leg come into tight contact when the leg is slid to the user side with respect to the top board whereas the pawl-type engaging part is composed so that a hook hole provided in the underside of the top board engages with a bent nail provided on the upwardly directed surface of the leg when the leg is slid to the user side with respect to the top board. When engaging parts are all brought into engagement with each other, said arms are tightly fastened to the forward edge of the top board with fastening pieces.

摘要： A back rest-carrying chair used in an office and provided with inner and outer shells (2, 3). A conventional chair of this kind has an inner shell alone that serves as a structural member thereof, so that a degree of freedom of design in terms of the strength and flexibility of this member is low. The chair according to the present invention is designed with the object of increasing this degree of freedom. To achieve this object, this chair is fabricated by integrally molding not only the seat and back portions of the inner shell (2) but also the corresponding portions (31, 32) of the outer shell (3) so that the two shells each have an L-shaped side elevation. 摘要： A plurality of panels which are to form a movable partition wall are joined together firmly in an accurately positioned state. In this movable partition wall, connectors are bridged over the horizontal end surfaces of adjacent panels. The horizontal end surface of each panel is provided with a recess or projection having tapering surfaces at both sides thereof. Each connector is provided with tapering portions complementary to these tapering surfaces. The connectors are set over the panels with the tapering portions of the former engaging with the tapering surfaces of the latter. In order to interpose a post between the panels, downwardly bent locking claws are provided on the panels, and these locking claws are engaged with locking bores provided in the post. A bolt is inserted through the central portion of the connector and engaged with a nut supported on the post, which is then drawn relatively toward the connector. Consequently, the panel is urged downward with respect to the post, so that the locking claws on the panel reliably engage the locking bores in the post. As a result, adjacent panels are connected together with the panels positioned accurately not only in the direction of the thickness of the partition wall but also in the vertical direction thereof.
