    • A flow control valve requiring no additional safety valves, having a valve body which can be made easily and compactly, and capable of stabilizing the hydraulic oil, which is introduced from a hydraulic pump, without causing the pulsation of the inlet side hydraulic pressure. The flow control valve is provided in a single valve port (21) in a valve body (20) with a puppet valve (32), and a second spool valve (51) functioning as a safety valve, these valves (32), (51) being arranged in series in the axial direction of the valve port (21). The hydraulic oil introduced into a communication port (39) of the puppet valve (32) through an inlet port (23) in the valve body (20) is guided into back pressure chambers (38a, 38b) in the puppet valve (32) through a variable throttle (44), and from the back pressure chamber (38b) to the outer circumferential portion of the second spool valve (51). The hydraulic pressure on the side of the inlet port (23) is introduced into a pressure receiving chamber (56) of the second spool valve (51).

    • The control valve control system is intended to improve the responsibility of a control valve, that is, to reduce the time delay from a manipulation of the operation lever till the actuation of the valve. The delay is caused by the time necessary for calculation for control and by the inductance of the solenoid of the valve. The control system comprises means (2) for producing an electric signal (V0) that corresponds to the operation stroke of an operation lever (1), an advance compensation controller (7) having a differentiator (10) for differentiating the electric signal (V0) and an adder (12) for adding the value of the differentiation to the electric signal (V0), and a controller (4) for calculating an instruction value from the added value and for outputting a control signal (i2) to the control units (5, 6) of the control valve.
