摘要： A wireless device having dual bus architecture for interfacing with cellular signals and short-range radio signals is provided in an embodiment of the present invention. A first bus couples a first processor to a first transceiver capable to transmit and receive cellular signals. A second bus couples a second processor to a second transceiver capable to transmit and receive short-range radio signals. A third bus is coupled to the first processor and the second processor for transferring multiplexed commands and data. A fourth bus is coupled to the first processor and the second processor for transferring an audio signal, such as a human voice. In an embodiment of the present invention, each processor has a universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter ("UART") coupled to the third bus, such as a RS-232 bus, and the fourth bus is a pulse code modulation ("PCM") bus. A first memory device is coupled to the second bus and stores a microrouter software component for transferring an Internet protocol ("IP") packet.

In an embodiment of the present invention, a device provides communication between a WAN and a short distance wireless network. The processor and router software component transfers a first plurality of packets between the device and the wide area network using the first wide area network address. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the selection of the environment includes 1) a user pressing a button indicating a selection of the environment 2) a second device, in the short distance wireless network, generating a second short-range radio signal indicating a selection of the environment, 3) a software component, such as a calendar program, selection in response to a user input, or 4) a user making a selection at a web site stored at a processing device. In an embodiment of the present invention, the second device is positioned at an entertainment location.

摘要： A device, method, system and computer readable medium allows for using a short-range address, such as a BluetoothTM address, to identify a cellular device and authenticate cellular messages to the cellular device. In an embodiment of the present invention, a first short-range radio address for a cellular device is stored in a processing device, such as a server coupled to a cellular network. An authentication message is obtained by the processing device. A second short-range radio address is stored in the cellular device. A first message digest is calculated responsive to the authentication message and first short-range radio address. A cellular message, including the authentication message and the first message digest, is transmitted to the cellular device. The cellular device receives the cellular message and calculates a second message digest responsive to the authentication message and the second short-range radio address stored in the cellular device. The cellular device authenticates the cellular message responsive to comparing the first message digest to a second message digest. In an alternate embodiment of the present invention, a processing device compares a second digest message from a cellular device and a first digest message calculated by the processing device in order authenticate the cellular message. In still a further embodiment of the present invention, a short-range radio address is used to encrypt and decrypt cellular messages.
