    • When a device in one wireless network receives interfering transmissions from an overlapping neighboring network, the neighboring network may be notified of the interference so that non-interfering schedules can be worked out. In one embodiment, the device receiving the interference may broadcast its own communications schedule. Device(s) in the interfering network may pick up that schedule, and pass it on to their controller, which can rearrange its own network schedule to be non-interfering. In another embodiment, the device receiving the interference may notify its own network controller with the pertinent information, and that controller may contact the controller of the interfering network to coordinate non-interfering schedules.

    • A system and method are provided to form multiple separate beamformed wireless communication links between a 60 GHz mmWave transmitter and a cooperating 60 GHz mmWave receiver, to transfer not only wireless data communication between the cooperating devices, but also to transmit usable wireless power between the cooperating devices. These systems and methods employ a technology for establishing multiple beamformed wireless communication links between cooperating 60 GHz mmWave communication devices to transfer wireless data communication between the cooperating devices, and separately to transmit usable wireless power between the cooperating devices over separate wireless directional beamformed links between the devices providing efficient and effective wireless power transmission between the devices based on the directionality of the beamformed links. Because 60GHz mmWave transmissions are highly directional, with beamwidths on the order of 10-20 degrees, power loss based on wasted energy when compared to existing omnidirectional wireless power transmission systems is significantly reduced.

    • A method and system to facilitate the mapping of the DisplayPort standard over a wireless interface. The wireless interface uses a communication protocol that operates in accordance with, but is not limited to, a wireless gigabit alliance (WGA) standard, a Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11a/b/g, IEEE 802.11n, and other IEEE wireless standards, a Bluetooth standard, a Ultra-wideband (UWB) standard, and a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard. In one embodiment of the invention, it provides a definition for mapping the DisplayPort standard over a wireless interface to enable wireless display usage model with existing or new DisplayPort sink devices. The definition for mapping the DisplayPort standard over a wireless interface allows end-to-end interoperability of DisplayPort based wireless devices and facilitates the adoption of the definition as an industry standard in one embodiment of the invention.
