    • A smart case system (100) for protecting a fragile object (E) is disclosed. The smart case system (100) comprises a detection system (101) comprising a plurality of sensors (206). 5 The plurality of sensors (206) is configured to detect a fall of the fragile object (E). The smart case system (100) comprises a deployment system (102) operatively coupled to the detection system (101). The smart case system (100) comprises a protection system (103) operatively coupled to the detection system (101) and the deployment system (102). The protection system (103) comprises a hinge (302) for mounting the protective system (103) 10 to the fragile object (E) and a protective element (303) coupled to the hinge (302). The protective system (103) is placed on the fragile object (E) in unstressed configuration (U). When the plurality of sensors (206) detect that the fragile object (E) is falling, the deployment system (102) deploys the protective system (103) such that the protective element (303) bends to cover a portion of the fragile object (E) with the help of the hinge 15 (302) thereby transitioning the protective system (103) in an open configuration (O) from closed configuration (C). The protective element (303) comes in contact with a surface and takes impact and protects the fragile object (E). In one embodiment, a smart case system (100) provided integrally in an object (E) is also disclosed.

    • The present invention provides a system and device for protecting of fragile or delicate objects from impact forces during a fall, wherein said system comprising: at least one detection system for continuously monitoring a state of said objects and configured to detect an event of fall of said objects; at least one actuation mechanism responsive to said event of fall of said objects detected by said detection system; at least one energy transfer mechanism triggered by said actuation mechanism, wherein said energy transfer mechanism adapted to be configured in a strained configuration and to subsequently trigger to expand to a free state configuration when an event of fall is detected; wherein, said energy transfer mechanism adapted to first receive said impact force such that said energy transfer mechanism makes a contact with an impact surface before said object, and thereby said energy transfer mechanism adapted to enable partial buffering of kinetic energy on collision of said object with said impact surface, thereby protecting said objects falling with any orientation from said impact force.
