摘要： The invention relates to a base for a reclining or seating surface which comprises, lying one on top of the other and enclosed in a closable cover (10), a resilient base (9), a resilient intermediate layer (6) and a mattress-type cover (1), which are all made of foamed latex or another foamed material and are, for example, configured as mats. Slats (2 and 7) are fixed on the resilient intermediate layer (6) by way of textile means, for example a tubular cover (4) in which the intermediate layer (6) is positioned and which has corresponding rows of pouches (5), said slats configuring an upper and a lower slatted frame (3 and 8). The base for a reclining or seating surface according to the invention is an optically appealing and self-contained unit that offers a high lying or seating comfort and that is easy to produce.
