摘要： In a first aspect of the present invention, a communication device (400) includes a transceiver (401) and a processor (403). The transceiver (401) is configured to receive from a second device (500) a wake-up signal for waking up the communication device (400). The processor (403) is configured to turn to active when the wake-up signal is received by the transceiver (401) and to perform a protection on an identifier (ID) of the communication device to obtain a protected identifier (pID) of the communication device. The transceiver (401) is further configured to transmit to the second device (500) a wake-up acknowledgement indicating that the communication device (400) is active, wherein the wake-up acknowledgement comprises the pID. The protection of identifications in a wake-up acknowledgement makes it difficult for attackers to know an existence of the communication device 400 and the identifier(s) of the communication device (400). Therefore, e.g. vulnerability of the communication system to (battery-targeted) DoS attacks can be mitigated.

摘要： The invention relates to a mechanism that allows the simultaneous transmissions in different parts of the available spectrum of an OFDM system, e.g. WiFi. An access point can thereby enable simultaneous transmissions from/to multiple client stations on different parts of the spectrum. This is achieved by implementing OFDMA that is transparent to the communicating stations by using multiple station identifiers, each of which is associated to a different part of the available bandwidth/spectrum in order to support simultaneous transmissions on the different parts of the bandwidth/spectrum.

摘要： The present invention proposes a receiver (1) and method for decoding data packets. A receiving unit (5) of the receiver (1) receives a data packet P1, which contains a MAC header. A soft decoder (3) of the receiver (1) decodes the data packet P1 to obtain soft values of the data packet P1, and an error checking module (2) of the receiver performs a cyclic redundancy check, CRC, on the data packet P1.
