    • The present invention discloses a media transmission method, media reception method, client and system thereof. The media reception method includes the following steps: receiving a media presentation description which comprises video Three Dimensional (3D) format description information; selecting a presentation according to the 3D format description information, and transmitting, according to the fragment information contained in the media presentation description, a fragment acquirement request to the server corresponding to the selected presentation, wherein the fragment acquirement request is used for obtaining the selected presentation fragment; receiving the fragment requested by the fragment acquirement request. The present invention solves the problem in the prior art that a receiver can only receive the 3D format description information long after it starts the media reception, and thereby the time for the client to determine the 3D format used in the video in the transmitting media is shortened.

    • Disclosed in the present invention is a method, apparatus and system for synchronizing media playing between HS terminal devices. The method comprises: receiving synchronization status information sent by a terminal device according to a synchronization configuration; determining synchronization setting parameters according to the synchronization status information; sending synchronization instructions, including the synchronization setting parameters, to the terminal device so that the terminal device plays the media according to the synchronization instructions. The apparatus comprises: a first receiving module, used to receive the synchronization status information sent by the terminal device according to the synchronization configuration; a first determining module, used to determine the synchronization setting parameters according to the synchronization status information; and a first sending module, used to send synchronization instructions including the synchronization setting parameters to the terminal device. The method, apparatus and system of the present invention are able to achieve synchronized media playing between a plurality of shared HS terminal devices by adjusting the speed and/or time of the media streaming of the HS terminals, thus improving user experience in the business of shared viewing.
