摘要： The invention concerns a method for cell search of the type performed in conjunction with selecting a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) in a cellular communications system, wherein the cellular communications system includes at least one terminal and at least two cells, the method including:- said at least one terminal obtaining, in any of said at least two cells, data on at least one candidate camping cell, - using said data for cell search. The method is distinguished by:- in said step of obtaining data, obtaining data including information on preference for at least one of said at least one candidate camping cell,- in said step of cell search, searching a cell based on said information on preference. The invention also concerns a terminal, a base station and a cellular communications system.
