摘要： The present invention relates to a securing method and apparatus for connecting lengths of material (or rails) to one another using a receiving means (or clip 1). The clip 1 comprises an open ended hook 3 and a hollow channel 6, (the hollow channel configured to engage with a first rail 2, and having a securing means 5 configured to fix the position of a second rail A with respect to the first rail 2, the securing means being able to move between an open and a closed position, the clip also comprising a locking means pivotal about locked and unlocked engaging positions with the distal end of the open ended hook 3 - the open ended hook being adapted to receive a second rail A. The securing means and locking means engage the rails within their respective holding positions and allow the rails to be interconnected.
