摘要： A waste water filter (11) has a pair of driven chains (17) carried by the frame (13) and extending in a loop. Screen segments are located between the chains, each of the segments (25) having apertures for the passage of fluid and a shelf portion to lift debris. End plates (37) are secured to opposite ends of each of the segments and seal plates are located between the end plates and the chains. Fasteners secure the end plates and seal plates to the chains. Each of the segments has a first edge that overlaps an upstream side of a second edge of an adjacent segment.

摘要： A drive system for driving a screen (2) in a fluid screening system comprises an electric gear motor (101) equipped with a mechanical torque limited coupling (103). The system is sized to provide the torque required to drive the screen throughout the desired speed range, as well as providing additional torque as required to free lodged solids from the screen field. The mechanical torque limited coupling provides overload protection when lodged solids block the rotating rake bar. The coupling operates up to a predetermined torque value before the overload protection is activated. The drive system may be operated in either a manual mode or an automatic mode.

摘要： A waste water filter has a perforated conveyor made up of a plurality of segments. Each of the segments has a shelf portion to lift trapped filtered material. Drive chains on opposite sides of the conveyor rotate the conveyor in an oblong loop. End plates on the ends of each segment have leading and trailing edges that extend at an acute angle relative to one another. Each of the end plates is rigidly mounted to a link of one of the chains. A socket mounted on a first edge of each of the segments engages a rod mounted on a second edge of an adjacent segment. Seal plates are located between the chains and the end plates. Each of the seal plates is rigidly mounted to one of the end plates and has an overlapping portion that extends alongside in sliding contact with an adjacent one of the end plates.
