    • A split sprocket assembly comprises two sprocket body members (1, 1A) having a first side defining a portion of an opening for receiving a shaft and having a second side. The split sprocket assembly further comprises four ring segments (2, 3, 4, 5) having a plurality of sprocket teeth (10) disposed along the periphery thereof .     • A modular belt comprises a plurality of modules having an intermediate section having a top surface (272) and a bottom surface.     • A modular conveyor belt having longitudinal grooves on the top and bottom of the belt. Pairs of rollers (40) are installed between the links within these grooves such that the rollers (40) do not project over the surface of the belt but are completely integrated into the body. The rollers (40) may be installed directly onto the pivot rods (31). The belts are supported by rails that enter into the longitudinal grooves to engage with the rollers (40) to carry the belt as it moves. The grooves on the bottom side of the single modules (13) are curved in such a way that the slots form a circle when the belt moves around a sprocket. This configuration allows for steel disks (67) to be installed between the sprockets on the driving and idling shaft. The disks (67) help to support the belt and to improve smooth running of the belts around the sprocket under a high load by taking the radial forces acting when the belt is under high tension.

    • A conveyor belt includes a series of rows of belt modules (13, 16). A first one of the rows has a plurality of hinge elements along an end of the first row. A second one of the rows has a plurality of hinge elements along an end of the second row.
