摘要： An apparatus for modifying reciprocating mold plate patty-forming machine is provided, wherein a mold plate for a smaller machine may be fit into a larger machine. The apparatus includes a drawbar configured to mount the smaller mold plate and modified wider spacers to meet the smaller mold plate within the larger machine. Either a first mold plate having a first set of keyholes or a second mold plate having a second, different, set of keyholes is mounted to a single patty-forming machine. The apparatus also includes first and second sets of adapters and a drawbar for connection to driving rods of the patty-forming machine drive system. The first set of adapters has keys corresponding to the first set of keyholes in the first mold plate, the second set of adapters has keys corresponding to the second set of keyholes and both sets of adapters are selectively attachable to the drawbar.

摘要： The invention provides a patty-forming machine with many improvements. The machine includes a servo motor mold plate mechanism with improved swing links and reducer. The machine also includes a servomotor driven knockout apparatus wherein the servomotor drives a cam and lever arrangement. A food system uses an integrated and compact motor and gearbox assemblies to drive the feed screws, and modular bearing assemblies on the shafts of the feed screws. The feed screws have heavy wall thickness flights. A sealed drum motor housed in the drive roller drives the hopper conveyor. The food system utilizes independent sensing means for indicating whenever the moldable food material accumulated at said one end of the hopper exceeds a given level. The cooling system with two fans and automatically closing dampers is improved and its placement and arrangement within the machine is optimized to save space and improve circulation. Linear displacement sensors are used in each hydraulic power cylinder. The machine utilizes improve seals between mechanical compartments and compartments in contact with food material. The machine provides a swing out electrical enclosure and chassis and uses modular I/O blocks to communicate between machine control and the solenoids.

The interleaver includes hoppers for holding sheets, a sheet applicator that has a vacuum transfer shuttle with a receiving vacuum bar that is slidable between a sheet receiving position and a sheet dispensing position, and a sheet transfer device that has at least three suction cups arranged spaced apart to grip each sheet from a hopper to remove a single sheet with each cycle from a hopper and depositing the sheet on a vacuum transfer shuttle. The interleaver also includes a precise position controlled motor and a drive train that is driven by the precise position controlled motor. The drive train can drive the sheet applicator and/or the sheet transfer device.

The upper conveyor has a tilted section such that a first clearance at an input to the path is equal to or greater than a thickness of the patties and a second clearance at an outlet of the inlet length is less than a thickness of the patties at the input of the path. A shuttle conveyor is arranged at, the output of the path and delivers patties to an indexing packaging machine.
