    • The present device is a structure for growing plants on a ground surface. The structure includes at least one elongated slab, being affixed to a post structure or having a raised curb on each side to allow for slabs to be stacked on other slabs, or being one large slab. A roof is fixed to cover the slab or slabs, and slabs are positioned so that an interior space is created for the growing of plants. An irrigation system and lamps extend along the length of the slab to irrigate and illuminate a top surface of the slab. At least one heating pipe is within each slab so that exchange fluid can flow to heat or cool the slab and the plants within the structure. Plant seeds may be scattered on the top surface of the slab and are irrigated by an irrigation system and illuminated by the lamps to grow the plants. The plants are removed from the slab once the plants have grown.
