摘要： A self-wrapping textile sleeve that is abrasion, arc and water resistant and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a wall having opposite edges extending in a lengthwise direction along a central longitudinal axis of the sleeve between opposite ends. The opposite edges overlap one another to form an inner tubular cavity. The wall has warp yarns extending in the lengthwise direction generally parallel to the central longitudinal axis and weft yarns extending generally transversely to the longitudinal axis between the opposite edges. The warp and weft yarns include expanded PTFE yarns, and the weft yarns further include heat-settable thermoplastic yarns. The heat-settable polymeric yarns impart a bias on the wall to bring the opposite edges into their overlapping relation.

摘要： A woven sleeve and method of construction are provided. The sleeve has a flexible, abrasion resistant, self-curling elongate wall constructed from woven monofilament and/or multifilament yarns. The wall has opposite edges extending generally parallel to a central axis of the sleeve, wherein the opposite edges overlap one another. The wall is woven with warp yarns that extend generally parallel to the central axis of the sleeve and fill yarns that extend circumferentially about the sleeve, generally transversely to the central axis. The warp yarns are bundled into individual, discrete groups, with each group including a plurality of yarns in side-by-side relation with one another, wherein each of the yarns within the same discrete group is interlaced over the same side of a common fill yarn.

摘要： A wrappable textile sleeve and method of construction thereof is provided. The wrappable textile sleeve includes an elongate wall extending along a longitudinal axis between opposite ends with lengthwise extending edges extending parallel or substantially parallel with the longitudinal axis between the opposite ends. The wall is woven from lengthwise extending warp yams and circumferentially extending weft yarns. The weft yams form a plurality of discrete annular bands, with adjacent bands having weft yams of different diameters to provide the wall with discrete enhanced hoop strength regions and with discrete enhanced flexibility regions, where the enhanced hoop strength and enhanced flexibility regions alternate in adjacent relation with one another.
