摘要： The present invention relates to a device for dispensing adhesive elements mounted on a taps. The device comprises a housing having a first housing portion including a dispensing aperture; and a second housing portion including tape storage means and tape presentation means. The second housing is connected to the first housing portion so as to be reciprocally moveable relative thereto between a first position in which the tape presentation means is retracted within the housing and a second position in which the tape presentation means is located at the dispensing aperture. The device further comprises tape advancement means configured to engage and draw a tape from the tape storage means during movement of the second housing portion from the first to the second position, and to prevent retraction of the tape into the tape storage means during movement of the second housing portion from the second to the first position.

摘要： The present invention relates to a device for dispensing adhesive elements mounted on a taps. 摘要： The present invention provides apparatus (1) for dispensing adhesive elements, provided at spaced apart locations along a tape, to a target location on a surface. The apparatus comprises means for accommodating said tape in a coiled configuration (3), a rotatably mounted tape dispensing head (18) for dispensing adhesive elements from the tape to said surface; and actuating means (2) mounted for movement relative to said head and operable to rotate said dispensing head (18) to present an adhesive to said target location. Also provided is a reel (58) for holding a length of tape in a coiled configuration. The reel has, on an external surface thereof, an outwardly extending projection (62) for registration in a corresponding recess (27) in tape dispensing apparatus. The invention also provides a tape-mounted adhesive comprising a carrier tape (60) carrying a plurality of removable adhesive elements (70) along its length. The carrier tape includes indexing means (64) whereby the carrier tape may be indexed relative to a dispensing means when the carrier tape is mounted in or on the dispensing means.

摘要： The present invention relates to compositions comprising blends of alkenyl aromatic polymers such as styrenic polymers (i.e. PS and HIPS) and bio-based or biodegradable polymers (i.e. PLA, PGA, PHA, PBS, PCL) compatibilized with styrene-based copolymers (i.e. styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) block copolymers, maleated SEBS, styrene-maleic anhydride (SMA) copolymer, styrene- methyl methacrylate (SMMA) copolymer) or a mixture of two or more styrene-based copolymers such as SEBS and SMA. These novel compositions can be extruded and thermoformed to produce very low density food service and consumer foam articles such as plates, hinged lid containers, trays, bowls, and egg cartons with good mechanical properties.
