摘要： The present invention identifies compounds that disrupt the interaction between anthrax proteins and LRP5/6 receptors, resulting in a reduction in anthrax toxicity. The compounds act to disrupt the intracellular transport of toxin complexes into a target cell. The present invention also provides methods for testing the effect of compounds on Wnt activity, through the use of in vitro experiments involving cells that have in at least one gene mutation involved in the Wnt pathway.

摘要： The present invention provides scalable, solution based processes for manufacturing electrochromic materials comprising metal oxide films for use in electrochromic devices. The electrochromic material comprises a transparent conductive substrate coated with an electrochromic metal oxide film, wherein the metal oxide film is formed by a process comprising the steps of: a) providing the conductive substrate; b) coating the substrate with a solution of one or more metal precursors; and c) exposing the coated substrate to near-infrared radiation, UV radiation and/or ozone in an aerobic atmosphere. The present invention also provides electrochromic devices incorporating these electrochromic materials.

摘要： A solar fuel production assembly comprises a separation structure including an ion conducting membrane structurally integrated with one or more solar fuel production units that absorb solar energy to drive one or more redox reactions. A reduction half-reaction occurs on a first side of the separation structure to produce one or more reduction products and an associated oxidation half-reaction occurs on an opposite second side of the separation structure to produce one or more oxidation products. The one or more reduction products are collectable from the first side and the one or more oxidation products are collectable from the second side of the separation structure. The ion conducting membrane provides facile transport of ions to reduce ion transfer ohmic losses associated with the one or more redox reactions, and also provides for separation of the one or more reduction products from the one or more oxidation products.

摘要： An outer rotor motor comprises a tubular shaft for maximum motor cooling effect. Coolant may flow through coolant channels of the shaft and the motor in various configurations to carry away the heat. A thermally conductive component may be inserted into the hollow shaft under the stator section to optimize the airflow and cooling. Physical construction of the motor and control algorithms may further enhance motor performance with appropriate sensors. A compact, smooth, and cool operating motor may thus be achieved for applications such as treadmills or other belt drive systems.
