摘要： A window envelope that includes a window patch formed from a low gloss polymer film based upon a rubber-modified vinyl aromatic polymer or a blend of a rubber- modified vinyl aromatic polymer and a vinyl aromatic polymer. The film may be a monolayer film or an external layer of a multilayer film. The film optionally includes an inorganic coating applied to either surface of the film where the film is a monolayer film or to an outermost surface of the film where the film is an external layer of a multilayer film. When an inorganic coating is applied to a film surface, the film need not include a rubber- modified vinyl aromatic polymer and may be based solely upon a vinyl aromatic polymer.

摘要： A composition comprising: a blended product of: a matrix polymer; and from 0.05 to 2.5 wt % diffuser polymer particles, wherein the diffuser polymer particles are characterized by an average diameter from 2 to 20 micrometers, a particle size distribution such that at least 90 wt % of the polymer particles fall within ±30 % of the volume average particle size, a crosslinking level greater than 4 %; and wherein the diffuser polymer particles comprise units derived from at least one alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer, from 5 wt % to 25 wt % units derived from a crosslinking monomer selected from the group consisting of aliphatic crosslinking monomers, aromatic crosslinking monomers and combinations thereof, optionally, units derived from one or more comonomers selected from the group consisting of aryl (meth)acrylate monomers and monovinyl arenes; and wherein from 0.1 to 20 wt% one or more performance additives dispersed within the diffuser polymer particles is provided.

摘要： A polycarbonate resin film, which is prepared by molding a resin composition, which comprises 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin (A), 0.10 to 0.18 parts by weight of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt compound (B) of a perfluoroalkane sulfonic acid and 0.05 to 0.35 parts by weight of a silicone compound (C), wherein a main chain of the silicone compound (C) is branched and the film has: (1) an average thickness of 200 to 500 µm, (2) a degree of haze of 5% or lower as measured according to the conditions specified in JIS K7105, and (3) a flame retardance of VTM-1 or VTM-O at a thickness of 300 µm as measured according to the UL94 test specified by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The polycarbonate resin film of the present invention exhibits excellent flame retardance without using a flame retarding agent comprising a halogen or phosphorus and has extremely excellent environmental compatibility with no concern for generating a halogen containing gas during combustion. In addition the film has a high degree of clarity and contributes to make the assembly work more efficient, for example, by shortening the time requirement when the film is utilized as an electrical insulating film.
