The paddle loop comprises a plurality of paddles (72) for carrying the harvested grain. The drive means are arranged for driving the paddle loop and thereby moving the paddles (72) upward at a first side of the paddle loop and downward at a second side of the paddle loop. The elevator housing (62) encompasses at least a portion of the paddle loop. The sensor assembly (70) comprises a NIR sensor (80) for detecting properties of the harvested grain and a sensor window (82) arranged for enabling infrared light to travel between the NIR sensor (80) and the harvested grain. The sensor window(82) is embedded in the elevator housing (62), adjacent the first side (60a) of the paddle loop.
