    • A combined wine glass and wine bottle package includes a wine glass constructed from molded plastic with an upper body defining an upwardly narrowed flume for concentrating the wine bouquet, in combination with a contoured lower base defining an annular moat surrounding a central punt. A wine bottle is sized to fit substantially, in an inverted orientation relative to the glass, into the wine glass, with a removable bottle cap nested within the central punt, and with an upper rim of the wine bottle snap-fitted into a shallow groove formed in the wine bottle near a lower end thereof. This entire package is sterile-wrapped in a sealed shrink-wrap plastic or the like. The package can be opened when desired to permit removal of the wine bottle from the wine glass, following by bottle opening and pouring of the contents into the wine glass.

    • A deformable grip is provided for a manual implement or other substrate such as a handle for a cooking vessel or a hair brush or the like, wherein the grip resiliently conforms to individualized anatomical contours and preferences thereby providing enhanced user comfort with reduced fatigue. The deformable grip includes a resilient outer sleeve mounted on the implement in a position for manual grasping during normal use, wherein this outer sleeve encloses at least one internal cavity containing a selected quantity of shape-deformable balls to provide the outer sleeve with a deformable tactile feel during normal use. These resilient balls are sufficiently deformable to accommodate injection into the cavity through a hollow needle passed through a small puncture port formed in the sleeve, followed by return to a normal size and shape sufficiently large to prevent backflow leakage through the puncture port to the sleeve exterior.

    • A conformable pod and related method of production are provided, wherein the pod defines a soft structure adapted for deformation in response to minimal pressure applied manually, i.e. , by contact with some portion of the body, and for retaining a deformed configuration substantially in the absence of continued application of manual pressure. The pod includes a viscous and tacky gel material encased within a closed chamber defined at least in part by a relatively thin and easily deformed outer skin providing minimal deformation resistance. In a preferred form, the encased gel material is a coagulated or partially coagulated gel such as a silicone-based gel material adapted for deformation in response to minimal applied pressure, and for substantially pressureless retention of the as- deformed shape, followed by relatively slow return (at least two seconds or more) to an initial nondeformed shape upon release of the pod.

    • The present invention is a stackable, plastic beverage tasting vessel (10) that comprises a bottom portion (12) and a side wall (20) terminating in an open top (28) having a rim (30). The rim comprises one or more of: (a) a curved portion (36) with a plurality of radially extending ridges for aerating the beverage, (b) an angled edge portion 38, and (c) a curved pouting lip portion (40). The vessel may include a raised portion (60) or dome formed in the bottom of the vessel and projecting upwardly into the interior of the vessel, and a platform portion (68) formed on a portion of the raised portion. The vessel may further comprise at least one radially projecting rib (70) integral with the interior surface of the side wall and positioned opposite the platform portion.
