    • The invention concerns an appliance (11) comprising means (23) for positioning a spectacle frame, a tactile sensor probe (25) including a support (31) and a tactile sensing blade (33), and means (27) for relatively moving the support (31) with respect to the positioning means (23), about an axis of rotation (C-C'), along said axis (C-C') and radially relative to said axis (C-C'). The appliance (11) comprises means (95, 61) for measuring, for each angular position of the blade (33) about the axis of rotation (C-C'), the radial and axial position of the blade (33). The blade (33) has on its edge a tactile sensing ridge (37) converging away from the support (31) in the direction of the radial axis (B-B'). The tactile sensing ridge (37) is designed to be contacted with the frame (15). The tactile sensing ridge (37) forms, by projection on a plane perpendicular to the radial axis (B-B'), a concave line. The invention is applicable to tactile sensing of spectacles with concavo-convex lenses.
