    • The present invention is concerned with an electronic circuit (C) that comprises a first electronic sub-circuit (uC) having an operating voltage that is higher than a supply voltage ( Vbat) provided by a voltage source (V), and a second electronic sub-circuit (B) that is coupled to the voltage source (V) and to a first voltage input (VI1 ) of the first electronic sub-circuit (uc), wherein said second electronic sub-circuit (B) comprises a short-time voltage boosting circuit (L1, D1, C1, TA1 ) that is adapted to provide a voltage at the first voltage input (VI1 ) for a period long enough to enable a start-up of the first electronic sub-circuit (uC) when the short- time voltage boosting circuit (L1, D1, C1, TA1 ) is triggered and a controllable voltage boosting circuit (L1, D1, T1, C1 ) that is adapted to provide a boosted voltage at the first voltage input (VI1 ), which controllable voltage boosting circuit (L1, D1, T1, C1 ) is coupled to a control output (CO) of the first electronic sub-circuit (uC) to receive a control signal, and wherein said period is long enough to also allow starting the control of the controllable voltage boosting circuit (L1, D1, T1, C1 ) by the first electronic sub-circuit (uC).

    • Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Blutdruckmeßgerät mit einem Gerätegehäuse, in dem Gerätebausteine wie ein Druckmesser, eine Anzeigeeinheit und dergleichen aufgenommen sind, einer mit dem Gehäuse verbundenen, um ein Körperglied legbaren Manschette, einem Manschettenspeicher, in den ein Manschettenabschnitt zur Weiteneinstellung der Manschette einziehbar ist, sowie einem Manschettenspanner, der den Manschettenabschnitt mit vorbestimmter Zugkraft in den Manschettenspeicher zieht. Erfindungsgemäss weist der Manschettenspanner einen vorgespannten Federantrieb sowie eine lösbare Ausziehsperre auf, die ein ungewolltes Ausziehen der Manschette entgegen dem Federantrieb verhindert. Der Federantrieb bewirkt ein automatisches Straffziehen der Manschette mit einer vorbestimmten Kraft, die reproduzierbare Messergebnisse sicherstellt. Gemäss einem weiteren vorteilhaften Aspekt der vorliegenden Erfindung sind der Manschettenspeicher und der Manschettenspanner in das Gerätegehäuse integriert bzw. mit dem Gerätegehäuse in Verriegelungseingriff bringbar. Vorzugsweise kann der Manschettenspeicher ein Ende der Manschette aufnehmen und als Verschlussteil ausgebildet sein, das mit dem Gerätegehäuse lösbar verriegelbar ist. Eine Einschaltautomatik schaltet das Gerät ein, sobald der Manschettenspeicher beim Anlegen der Manschette am Gerätegehäuse verriegelt wird.
