摘要： A thrombectomy catheter comprising a catheter tube extending from a proximal portion to a distal portion and including a catheter lumen extending between the proximal portion and the distal portion, a high pressure tube extending through the catheter lumen from the catheter proximal portion toward the catheter distal portion, the high pressure tube configured for communication with a fluid source near the catheter proximal portion, a fluid jet emanator in communication with the high pressure tube, the fluid jet emanator having at least one jet orifice for directing at least one fluid jet from said fluid jet emanator through the catheter lumen, an outflow orifice located along a catheter perimeter of the catheter distal portion, an entrainment inflow orifice positioned along the catheter distal portion, and an accessory device disposed within the catheter lumen. The accessory device may be configured to deflect a distal portion of the thrombectomy catheter and/or disrupt a lesion in a vessel.

The guidewire may include a proximal end region having a first cross-sectional dimension, an enlarged distal end region having a second cross sectional dimension greater than the first cross-sectional dimension, and an intermediate region disposed between the proximal end region and the distal end region.

A rotational atherectomy device may include an elongate shaft having a proximal end region, a distal end region and a lumen extending therein. The medical device may also include a cutting member positioned adjacent the distal end region of the elongate shaft. The cutting member may include a plurality of helical grooves defined in an outer surface of the cutting member. At least some of the helical grooves may extend at least one full helical rotation about the cutting member. In some cases, at least some of the helical grooves may include a first helical groove extending in a first direction and a second helical groove extending in a second direction that is different from the first direction.

摘要： An occlusive medical device system may include an elongate shaft having a distal strain relief portion and a lumen extending longitudinally through the elongate shaft, the elongate shaft including a plurality of retaining arms extending distally from the distal strain relief portion; an occlusive medical device including a proximal mounting portion fixed to an expandable occlusive element; and a release wire disposed within the lumen of the elongate shaft. The plurality of retaining arms may extend into the proximal mounting portion. The release wire may be configured to engage the plurality of retaining arms in a distal engagement position, thereby urging the plurality of retaining arms radially outward into releasable engagement with the proximal mounting portion. When the release wire is in a proximal released position, the plurality of retaining arms is deflectable radially inward to disengage from the proximal mounting portion.
