    • This invention relates to devices that provide for the application of multi-vector, auto-powered traction by a user to the user's lumbar spine. Previously, devices designed to provide such physical training and decompression only provide pure longitudinal traction along a flat plane and anchor under the arms and ankles, which limits the direction of force to only a single plane of traction. Embodiments of the present invention use a sliding spine assembly (24) connected to an adjustable length vector bar. The vector bar is rotatably attached to the sliding spine assembly such that the vector bar is configured to move in a plurality of vectors. A strap assembly attached to the distal end of the vector bar, such that the strap assembly is configured to attach to the belt (66) and apply traction to a user's back.

    • A method for calibrating a display device (10) comprises controlling an applied voltage to at least one fabry-perot interferometer pixel (32) through a plurality of switches. The at least one fabry-perot interferometer pixel (32) has a top (34, 41, 64) and a bottom (36, 42, 66) plate defining a gap (44, 58) therebetween wherein the at least one fabry-perot interferometer pixel (32) produces a selected output color in response to the applied voltage. The method further includes controlling a test voltage to the at least one fabry-perot interferometer pixel (32) through the plurality of switches (38, 40) during a calibration sequence to determine a gap capacitance in the at least one fabry-perot interferometer (32). The gap capacitance represents the relative position of the top plate (34, 41, 64) with respect to the bottom plate (36, 42, 66).
