    • In an embodiment of the invention, there is proposed a method of and apparatus for accessing in a user equipment, the method including the steps of: i) performing a random access on a predetermined resource according to a channel condition of the user equipment, wherein the predetermined resource is associated with the channel condition of the user equipment; and ii) receiving, on a PDCCH, a response to the random access from an eNB. With this solution, during a random access of a user equipment, particularly a MTC device, an eNB can perform a Random Access Response (RAR) adaptively using a different number of Control Channel Elements (CCEs) according to an indication, capable of reflecting a channel condition, e.g., a signal to noise ratio, of the user equipment, thereby saving the channel resource.

    • The present invention provides a solution of initiating one-to-many communication process by a network in a communication system. Firstly, a server sends a control signaling to the determined next-hop core network equipment. After receiving the control signaling, the core network equipment generates a paging message according to the control signaling, and determines a target access network equipment to send the paging message according to the content of the paging message. After receiving the paging message from the core network equipment, the access network equipment interprets the paging message into an air interface paging message and sends the air interface paging message.     • A method of accessing in an equipment of a communication network is proposed in the invention. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a message 2 from a base station, the message 2 being used for an assignment of resource to transmit a message 3, the assigned resource corresponding to N HARQ RTTs, where 1≤N≤8; and transmitting the message 3 only in part of the N HARQ RTTs. With the scheme of the invention, a MTC device selectively transmits the Msg3 in one/some HARQ RTT and maintains silence in another one/some HARQ RTT, thus the possibility of the occurrence of access collision with other UEs may be backed off, such that other UEs, particularly human-to-human UEs, may transmit the Msg3 normally.
