    • The inventive method for producing cast iron in a fusion reactor such as a blast furnace consists in introducing at least one type of campanile, an oxidiser and fuel in order to melt said campanile and produce cast iron whose carbon content is equal to or less than 5 %, recovering blast-furnace gases containing 15-45 % by volume CO, the rest substentially being nitrogen, hydrogen, different hydrocarbons and a low argon content and in separating CO2 from the blast-furnace gas which is sent towards utilisation means thereof. Said CO2 is separated from the blast-furnace gas in such a way that a carbon dioxide gas stream is obtainable. Afterwards, said gas is liquefied by means of appropriate liquefaction and purification means in such a way that after said liquefaction, the CO content in the thus obtained carbon dioxide is equal to or less than 1 % by weight and the content of sulfur-containing products is equal to or less than 500 ppm. Said liquefied gas is transported by appropriate transport means to an oil-well provided with at least one entry and one exit, pressurised up to a pressure approximately higher than 70 x 10 Pa and is injected through the entry of said well in such a way that it is spread thereinside, thereby facilitating oil extraction.
