摘要： A device for controlling a magnetic flux in an electro- magnetic system, wherein the system comprises magnetically connected magnetic cores, between which a volume is arranged. The volume comprises a controllable magnetic flux region and the magnetic flux region contains a magnetic material that exhibits a relative permeability that may be varied by influencing the temperature of the material. The magnetic material contains a magnetic material, the Curie point of which lies within the temperature operating range of the device and exhibits paramagnetic properties within said temperature range. Also a method of controlling a magnetic flux is described.

摘要： The invention concerns a high voltage transmission wire or cable for transmitting AC or DC power between two points. Preferably at least one point is connected to one or more power networks. The conductor of the wire or cable comprises a semiconducting outer layer (10) including distributed magnetic particles. Other embodiments include an insulation layer (12) including distributed magnetic material, micro-particles, ribbons tapes etc, and an insulation screen. The invention increases the distance over which power may be transmitted and/or eliminates the necessity for power compensation reactors partially or totally. This is achieved by increasing inductance and reducing AC capacitance leakage currents in AC lines and, when operated as a DC line, by reducing high frequency harmonics.

By choosing appropriate sizes of the resilient members (12, 16), the relative strenght of the spring force is increased, which even will be large enough to cause a plastic deformation of the material in the contact points (24) between the conducting resilient members (12) and the component contact members (22). In such a manner, soldering or gluing may be totally omitted.

摘要： A waste incinerator system is disclosed for incinerating waste in a holding tank. The system comprises a pump in fluid communication with the waste, and adapted to pump waste out of the holding tank and into a substantially hollow burning chamber. The burning chamber includes a raised open end and a lowered chimney end. The chimney end is sealed with a selectively removable chamber plate and includes a chimney for venting exhaust fumes from the burning chamber. A waste tray is adapted to be slid into the burning chamber through the chimney end and holds waste received from the pump. A burner assembly is fixed adjacent with the open end of the burning chamber and adapted to direct a flame into the open end of the burning chamber to heat the waste tray and incinerate the waste therein. A housing is included to enclose the burner assembly and burning chamber.
