摘要： A method for extracting a background image from a motion image includes: step A, setting a background image frame, selecting any image frame of a motion image as a first image frame, and dividing the first image frame into at least one image block; step B, dividing the current selected image frame into at least one image block, selecting a first image block of the current selected image frame; step C, calculating the first matching degree between the current selected image block and a image block in the current background image that has a same position as the current selected image block; step D, if the first matching degree is less than or equal to a first threshold value, then refreshing the current background image, replacing the image block having the same position as the current selected image block in current background image by the current selected image block, and executing the step E; otherwise, executing the step E; step E, if there is a next image block in the current selected image frame, then selecting the next image block and returning to the step C; otherwise, executing the step F; step F, if there is a next image block in the motion image, then selecting the next image frame and returning to the step B, otherwise, setting the current background image as the background image of the motion image. Correspondingly, a device for extracting a background image from a motion image is provided.
