    • An electric razor inner blade unit includes a plurality of blades (30) supported by a base and is shear−engaged with an outer blade so as to be driven to cut beards. The blades (30) are arranged parallel to one another and a pair of cutting edge (32) is arranged at upper both sides of each blade. This cutting edge is defined between an upper surface of the blade and a scoop surface (33) formed on the lower surface of the blade. This scoop surface (33) is inclined by &agr; [degrees] with respect to the upper surface and the tip end of the cutting edge (32) is rounded by radius of curvature R [μm]. This radius of curvature satisfies the relationship: R ≤−0.067 · &agr; + 4.7. As a result, the cutting resistance when cutting beards can be reduced to the load not greater than the load required for tilting the beards and only with the operation of the blades of the inner blade unit, beards can be cut so that the cutting surface is flat.
