摘要： A structure of circular saw in which the critical number of revolution is not lowered even if the saw is made thin but can be doubled as compared with a conventional circular saw by solving the drawback of prior art that the critical number of revolution decreases as the circular saw is made thinner to cause buckling, and a method for fixing a circular saw to a main rotary spindle. Three slits are made in the body of a circular saw having a central hole to extend radially from the central hole or the vicinity thereof at a required angle, and the end of the slit is set within an annular range of 60-75% of the radius at the bottom of the circular saw. When such a circular saw is fixed to a main rotary spindle, the circular saw is clamped from the opposite sides by means of a pair of flanges provided on the main rotary spindle such that movement of the body of circular saw is restricted in the thickness direction but radial enlargement/contraction incident to expansion/shrinkage of the body is allowed.
