    • A specific absorption rate (SAR) measurement system includes a phantom (10) having a sham tissue (14) formed with a homogeneous material conformed to the electrical characteristic of the human body tissue in relation to the measurement frequency, and an outer skin (12) formed with the anatomical structure of the human body to incrust the sham tissue (14). A plurality of measurement modules (20) are uniformly arranged within the phantom (10) each with an IC chip (22) for processing the positional information and measured values to generate signals, and an antenna (24) for transmitting the signals from the IC chip (22), receiving frequency signals from the outside and generating induced power for driving the chip (22) and measuring the SAR absorbed into the sham tissue (14) and transmitting the measured SAR values to the IC chip (22). A measurement controller (30) receives the positional information and the measured values from the antennas (24) of the measurement modules (20) and processes the received date.

    • Disclosed is an SAR measurement method that is capable of securing sufficient power within a short period of time and always maintaining the intensity of measurement signals irrespective of the measurement frequency. With the SAR measurement method, a plurality of measurement modules each with a control unit for processing location information and SAR measurement values, a memory unit for storing data, an antenna for making signal transception with the external, and a storage battery charged by way of inductive power are prepared. Thereafter, the plurality of measurement modules are arranged and installed within a phantom formed with a homogeneous material that conforms to the electrical characteristics of human body tissue. An electronic product to be measured in SAR is mounted at a predetermined location of the phantom with a predetermined posture. A high frequency of several hundred megahertz (MHz) to several hundred gigahertz (GHz) is scanned toward the phantom. The electronic product is operated with a predetermined pattern during a predetermined period of time. A measurement controller receives the data stored at the respective measurement modules to download and process the data, thereby verifying the SAR of the electronic product.

    • An antenna measurement system is provided to measure the radiation characteristic of a source antenna (2), and obtain more correct far-field range data within a short period of time. The antenna measurement system includes a tester body placed apart from the source antenna (2) with a predetermined distance. A plurality of measurement modules (20) are arranged at the tester body in a predetermined pattern. Each measurement module has an IC chip (22) for processing positional information and measured values to generate relevant signals, and a tester antenna for receiving and transmitting the signals from the IC chip (22). Upon receipt of frequency signals from the source antenna (2), the tester antenna (24) generates induced power for driving the IC chip (22), and transmits the measured values for the frequency signals to the IC chip (22). A measurement controller (30) receives the signals from the tester antenna (24), and data-processes the positional information and the measured values of the respective measurement modules (20).
