    • Electrical ceiling heater panel for radiant heating, comprising a relatively elongated radiant heating element (22) having a radiation emitting surface adapted to face generally downwards in the mounted position of the panel, said surface being preferably provided with longitudinal ribs (10A, 10B), at least one electrical heater element (25, 26) being in close heat conductive contact with the radiant heating element (22) and a surrounding insulated housing (5, 7, 15) having means (2, 3) for suspending the panel from a ceiling (1). The radiant heating element can be displaced somewhat in its longitudinal direction with respect to the element box, and at each end of the element box there is provided a plate-shaped bracket (18) standing generally in a plane normal to the longitudinal direction of the panel and adapted to be somewhat resilient in this direction as well as being attached to the adjacent end of the radiant heating element (22) at the outer edges thereof.

    • Flat electric heating arrangement comprising a long extended, insulated heating element (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4) and at least one heat-distributing metal foil (1.5a, 1.5b) which in tight-fitting heat contact surrounds at least a part of the heating element's outer surface.     • Electric heating device for beds, in particular water beds, incubators and other similar applications in which there are strict requirements as to temperature accuracy and to safety. The problem with such devices is to obtain a sufficiently accurate temperature control without making the design too expensive. The heating device preferably comprises a flat heating element (1) and a switch and control unit (2) with a thermostat (8 - 11). This unit is connected to the heating element through electrical leads (6, 7). Between the heating element (1) and the switch and control unit (2) there is provided a hollow, preferably somewhat flexible hose member (3) which in addition to accommodating the electrical leads (6, 7) also accommodates other components in the device, in particular a sensing element (9) for the thermostat. There is also a general description of a thermostat for electrical heating devices having strict requirements as to temperature accuracy, and comprising an accelaration element (14), in which the heating effect from the acceleration element (14) is adjustable, preferably by means of an adjustable series resistor (17) or a potentiometer in a current supply circuit (15, 16) for the acceleration element (14).

    • Sheet-shaped heater, in particular for use as a bed heater, and a water bed heater respectively. When designing such heaters it is difficult to obtain an optimal combination of properties for satisfying the different requirements imposed, inter alia with respect to reliability and safety, uniform temperature distribution and mechanical flexibility. For heat distribution the element comprises a continuous metal foil (22) in which there is formed a continuous meandering groove (20) which lies substantially at one side of the plane of the metal foil. There is no thickness reduction of the metal foil at the groove (20) formed. A heat emitting conduit, preferably a heating cable (21a-c) is tightly received in the groove, the depth thereof being substantially equal to the transverse dimension of the conduit. An outer protective layer (23) is tightly joined to the metal foil (22) and preferably to a portion of the surface of the conduit (21a-c) at that side where the groove (20) is open.
