摘要： Method and machine for the thermal or chemical treatment of a fine textile yarn on a conveyor belt. The yarn (8) is deposited in the form of turns (12) inclined rearwardly and formed by winding the yarn about a guiding stick (20) of which the lower side is bearing against the conveyor belt (2). A drive member (22) bears on the upper side of the stick and seizes successively each of the yarn turns formed on the base (24) of the stick at a point of which the position is adjustable. The turns are guided by the blade (25) of the stick inside a portion of the treatment housing (1). The transversal profile of the stick is particularly adapted to the progressive inclination of the turns and to the retraction of the yarn as a result of the heat treatment effect. The invention applies particularly to the treatment of fine yarns by steaming process.
