    • The present invention relates to a trailer (1) comprising a trailer bed (10) which is at least partly made of a composite material and at least one axle (2, 12, 22) which extends in cross direction of the trailer and is connected to the trailer bed (10) for suspending the wheels (3). The trailer bed (10) comprises an upper (11) and a lower (21) load absorbing surface, wherein the upper load absorbing surface (11) comprises in longitudinal direction a front and a back area (8, 18) and a connection area (7) between them, wherein the connection area corresponds to a surface area where a bottom face of the upper load absorbing surface (11) is connected to the lower load absorbing surface (21). The lower load absorbing surface comprises in longitudinal direction a first part (9) which is bent with respect to the upper load absorbing surface and which is connected with a first end (29) part to the bottom face of the upper load absorbing surface.
