    • The invention relates to antigen-binding polypeptides which comprise the CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3 region of a VHH domain of a camelid heavy chain antibody. The polypeptides specifically bind in the region of amino acids 1-800 of a Clostridium difficile toxin exhibiting glycosyltransferase activity. The antigen-binding polypeptides are particularly suited for therapeutic treatment of a disease caused by a Clostridium difficile toxin exhibiting glycosyltransferase activity, and for the diagnosis of such a disease. The invention further relates to the use of such antigen-binding polypeptides in methods for detecting a Clostridium difficile toxin exhibiting glycosyltransferase activity in a biological sample. The invention also relates to methods for purifying and/or concentrating a Clostridium difficile toxin exhibiting glycosyltransferase activity, wherein the antigen-binding polypeptides are used.
