摘要： A device is provided for controlling dosing movement of a drawer in a drawer cabinet. The device comprises an actuator (12) driven by a spring (10) for imparting a biassing force to the drawer as it closes. The actuator is mounted on a housing (13), which is itself mounted on the cabinet, and is movable back and forth in the direction of movement of the drawer. A damper (21) is mounted on the housing and is operable on the actuator to impart a damping force on it in a sense to resist the closing movement of the drawer. The actuator is triggered by a catch (16) mounted on the drawer. The housing and catch are mountable without need of pre-drilling and comprise locating means for determining their relative positions on the cabinet and drawer respectively.

摘要： A hinge assembly is provided in which a damper (25) is mounted within the mounting arm (11) of a toggle type hinge (10). The damper has a linearly reciprocal piston which is actuated by rotation of a drive shaft (27). A toothed pinion (29) attached to the drive shaft is in engagement with a driving gear (23). The driving gear is connected to an inner link (14) of the hinge so as to rotate therewith. When the cup flange (12) of the hinge pivots, the drive shaft of the damper is driven to rotate, through the action of the gear train. Rotation of the damper transmits a damped resistive force back to the cup flange.

摘要： A two-part fastening device for fastening two panels together is provided of the type comprising a rotatable drum with at least one camming surface an a pin (10) with a head (14) adapted to engage with the camming surface. The pin (10) is secured in one panel to be fastened and the rotatable drum positioned in the other panel. The head (14) of the pin is passed into the drum member which is then rotated so that the camming surface acts to pull the head of the pin inwardly, thus drawing the two panels together. The head (14) of the pin is provided with protrusions (22) which cooperate with the rotatable drum so that locking engagement of the fastening device can be achieved.
