摘要： A package comprises first and second packs (Pl, P2) each capable of containing items. Each pack has a base, and a first face (Fl, Fl') bound by a first edge (El, El') and a second edge (E2, E2') which co-operate with the base to contain items in the packs. Means (JL) connect the first and second packs (Pl, P2), the means comprising at least first and second straps (Sl, S2). In a first position of the packs the first faces (Fl, Fl') of each pack face each other with the first edges (El, El') of the first and second packs adjacent each other and the second edges (El, E2') of the first and second packs adjacent each other. The first and second straps (Sl, S2) extend across the first faces (Fl, Fl') of the packs, the first strap (Sl) is hinged relative to the first pack at the first edge (El) of the first pack and hinged relative to the second pack at the second edge (E2') of the second pack, and the second strap (S2) is hinged relative to the second pack (P2) at the first edge (El') of the second pack and hinged relative to the first pack at the second edge of the first pack. When connected together by the straps (Sl, S2), the first and second packs (Pl, P2) are moveable, one relative to the other between at least the first position, a second position in which the second pack (P2) is rotated relative to the first pack (Pl) about the first edge (El) and a third position in which the second pack (P2) is rotated relative to the first pack (Pl) about the second edge (E2').

摘要： A blank (10) may be used for forming a prismatic pack (20) of triangular cross section. The blank has a generally rectangular portion which is divisible into three body panels (11+15,12+16,13+17) for forming the sides of said triangular cross-section. A top triangular panel (21) is connected to the top edge of one of the body panels and a bottom triangular panel (25) is connected to the bottom edge of one of the body panels. The top and bottom triangular panels (21,25) correspond to the triangular cross-section of the pack. First and second top flaps (121,22) are connected to the top edge of respective body panels, other than the body panel to which the top triangular panel is connected. Each of the first and second top flaps (121,22) extends along substantially the whole width of their respective body panels . The first top flap (121) is substantially similar in size and shape to the top triangular panel (21) . The first and second bottom flaps (125,26) are connected to the bottom edge of respective body panels, other than the body panel to which the bottom triangular panel is connected. Each of the first and second bottom flaps extends (125,26) along substantially the whole width of their respective body panels. The first bottom flap (125) is substantially similar in size and shape to the bottom triangular panel (25) .

摘要： The invention relates to a smoking article pack (10) and an associated blank each configured to enclose smoking articles having a generally frustoconical shape. The pack (10) is provided with polygonal end faces (20, 22) of differing surface areas and has a body portion (10a) and a lid portion (10b) which, when the lid portion (10b) is in its closed position, define an overal frusto- pyramidal shape. The lid portion (10b) is operable to provide access to the pack (10) proximate the end face (22) having the greater surface area thus maximising the use of the space within the pack (10). The present invention allows frusto- conical smoking articles to be orientated within the pack whilst they all lie in the same direction such that they may be conveniently removed by a consumer in a direction parallel to their longitudinal axes.
