摘要： A system for application of locking compound to a fastener is disclosed. The system comprises a delivery unit connected to an application head (16). The delivery unit is operable to deliver a quantity of sealing compound to the application head (16). The delivery head has a recess (50) into which the sealing compound is delivered. The recess (50) is shaped and dimensioned to surround the fastener (60) and a surface of a component (62) that is secured by the fastener (60). This arrangement ensures that sealing compound delivered to the sealing head (60) forms a body within the recess that surrounds the fastener (60) and makes contact with the surface (62) of the component surrounding the fastener (60).

摘要： Security apparatus is disclosed for protecting an article such as a bundle of banknotes. The security apparatus comprises apparatus for dispensing a liquid comprising: a vessel for containing a liquid to be dispensed, a dispenser that can be triggered to dispense liquid from the vessel and to project it;and a control system for activation of the dispenser. The control system includes a detector that can detect the proximity of a person to the apparatus. The control system has a disarmed and an armed state. The system further includes switching means operative remotely to set the control system to its armed or to its disarmed state. Triggering means is provided operative to operate the switching means. In the armed state, the control system is operative to trigger the dispenser in the event that the detector detects the proximity of a person to the apparatus, and the triggering means is activated upon removal of a protected article from a predetermined location.
