摘要： Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von formgeschäumten Poly(meth)acrylimid-(P(M)I-), insbesondere von Polymethacrylimid-(PMI-)Kernen, die zum Beispiel im Automobil- oder Flugzeugbau zum Einsatz kommen können. Das Verfahren zeichnet sich dabei dadurch aus, dass ein Polymergranulat oder -pulver in ein Presswerkzeug eingefüllt und dort aufgeschäumt wird. Insbesondere zeichnet sich das Verfahren dadurch aus, dass dieses zweischalige Presswerkzeug auf beiden Seiten jeweils über eine konturfolgende Kavität verfügt, die sowohl zum Heizen als auch zum Kühlen des Granulats, bzw. des daraus gebildeten Hartschaumkerns dient.
