    • Methods and apparatus of pressure activated completion tools for hydraulic fracturing and related processes are provided. In some embodiments, the hydraulic fracturing apparatuses for accessing a subterranean formations can include a tubular body to be fluidly connected in-line with a completion string, the tubular body having at least one burst port configured to receive burst inserts (burst plugs) and/or shields, and a movable inner shift sleeve that can slide along the inside of the tubular body when exposed to hydraulic pressure from a first position to a second position. The tubular body can have flow-port(s) that are blocked when the movable inner sleeve is in the first position and opened when the movable inner sleeve slides to the second position. In some embodiments, the apparatus can use a second activation sleeve for deactivating/activating the first sleeve. Uses of such apparatuses can include fracing, toe intervention, and pressure testing of wells.

    • A set of pressure activated tools that could be used in a well bore to allow for hydraulic fracturing completions are provided. Methods, apparatuses and assemblies are described herein for perforating (also known as hydraulically fracturing or stimulating) subterranean formations. In some embodiments, an insert is provided having a body for sealing engagement with a port in a tubular member. The insert body can include a fold-over ledge and a membrane having a first mode wherein the membrane prevents fluid passage through the body and a second mode wherein the membrane partially disengages from the body upon treatment fluid reaching a threshold pressure and folds over the fold-over ledge in a bottle-cap opening manner to contribute to the fracture of the formation by the pressurized treatment fluid exiting the port.

The hydraulic fracturing apparatuses can include a tubular body having a housing and a flow port, a movable inner sleeve within the tubular body slidable from a first position blocking the flow port and a second position exposing the flow port; an inner indexing mechanism capable of being moved through a plurality of positions and can include the inner sleeve having a counting track comprising a plurality of different grooves; and a counting mechanism that can include a circular ring and pin that can be axially and rotationally movable in the counting track; an actuating mechanism can rely on the auto-jay counting mechanism to provide a mechanical signal to either allow an actuating member to pass through and not open the flow ports or be retained so pressure shifts the sleeve to open the flow ports.

    • A method and apparatus for the injection of steam into a hydrocarbon well during a Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) process are provided. The apparatus can include a shifting sleeve positioned within the body of the apparatus. The shifting sleeve can have an open and a closed position. In the closed position annular seals can substantially prevent steam within the bore of the body from exiting the device and flowing into the wellbore. When the shifting sleeve is moved to its open position, an aperture in the body aligned with a steam dispersing cover mounted on the body can be exposed to pressurized steam from the bore of the apparatus and can allow steam to exit the bore and be dispersed into the wellbore. The steam dispersing covers can have dispersion openings which can direct the steam into the wellbore as desired.
