摘要： A scrubbing cap (10) for sterilizing a tubular medical line port (11) wherein the cap (10) is molded of a pliable plastic and is provided with an open annular cavity (12) therein which is dimensioned and contoured to receive through its mouth (13) a tubular medical line port (11) with a friction fit for scrubbing surfaces of the port with sterilizing liquid contained in the cavity (12). Flexible scrubber protrusions (15) coaxially extend into the cavity (12) from the floor (16) of the cavity ( 12) for scrubbing interior portions (17) of the medical line port (11). The floor (16) is flexibly displaceable whereby the floor (16) will displace or bulge outwardly when the scrubber protrusions (15) engage a valve within the port for thereby scrubbing the exposed surfaces of the valve (18) while preventing inadvertent opening of the valve.
