摘要： A method for controlling a process for curving an elongated piece (P) by means of a digital system comprising: • - a control console (C) provided with a programmable processing unit (U) and with screen means (S) for displaying data, being associable to a roller curving machine (M) for curving said elongated piece (P), • - a camera unit (2), operationally connected to said processing unit (U), and configured and positioned for acquiring images of the elongated piece (P) to be curved by said roller curving machine (M); COMPRISES THE STEPS OF: • - storing the profile of at least one virtual template (T) of curvature in the processing unit (U) of the control console (C); detecting, by the camera unit (2), a real image (I) of the elongated piece (P) to be curved which is positioned on the roller curving machine (M); reproducing the profile of the virtual template (T) and the real image (I) of the elongated piece (P) detected by the camera unit (2) on screen means (S); comparing in real time the real image (I) of the elongated piece (P) reproduced on viewing screen means (S) with the profile of the virtual template (T), reproduced on viewing screen means (S) and superimposed on the real image (I) of the piece, and driving the roller curving machine (M) and matching the curvature and the geometric configuration of the elongated piece (P) with the profile of the virtual template (T) of curvature. An apparatus and a computer product for implementing the aforesaid method and a roller curving machine provided with said apparatus are also provided.
