The present invention relates to fire barrier pass-through device for extending between a first side and a second opposing side of a building partition comprising at least a two- part thermally conductive casing comprising a first part and a second part separated by a thermal gap that inhibits conduction of thermal energy between the first part and the second part.

摘要： A flexible fire, sound and smoke barrier (30) has a sheet of flexible intumescent material (32) and a sheet of smoke impermeable material (34) on both sides of the intumescent material. The smoke impermeable material comprising a woven or non-woven sheet of fibrous material (35) and a coating of a polymeric material (36) on at least one side of each sheet. The intumescent material comprises a formulation of expandable graphite, binders and plasticisers. The smoke impermeable material comprise a fibreglass fibrous material, The coating on the sheets of smoke impermeable material can be a polyurethane polymeric material. The sheet of flexible intumescent material can have a fibrous reinforcement (40) such as a sheet of textile material embedded into the intumescent material. Alternatively the fibrous reinforcement can be a metal mesh. The barrier can be formed in a strip with hook and loop fasteners along opposite edges and sides so that the barrier can be fixed around pipes and cables. Alternatively the acoustic, fire and smoke barrier blanket can be retained onto structures and around building services by gluing, stitching, strapping or stapling.

摘要： A floor waste drain fire collar to prevent egress of smoke and fire between floors in a multi-story building. The fire collar (58) has an outer housing (70) with a upper puddle flange (76) and a removable sealing cap (78) in the upper flange, a tubular body (80) is received in the outer housing and is movable longitudinally within the outer housing from a position in which it is received within the outer housing to a position in which an upper end of the tubular body extends beyond the outer housing. The tubular body has a valve seat (86) and a valve assembly (88). The valve assembly has a valve member which in a first position allows flow through the flow path and a second position in which it is engaged against the valve seat to prevent flow through the tubular body. The valve assembly includes an intumescent material (90). A fusible link (100) maintains the valve member in the first position against a spring force (102) whereby when the fusible link has been heated above a selected temperature by a fire the valve member to the second position to prevent smoke and fire passing through the floor waste fire collar.

A heat resistant fabric (19) is joined to the housing at one end thereof and is loosely folded in the housing and a coil spring (17) is stretched around the tube and the heat resistant fabric is passed between the coil spring and the tube.
