    • A composite building block (1) with a connective structure (4) between the inner (3) and outer (2) wall units is present. The wall units (2, 3) can be made of cement, clay, brick, or similar materials. The connective structure (4) is made of a material different than the wall units (2, 3) and may be integrally formed per the requirements of a particular wall construction project. In one embodiment, the connective structure (4) comprises a center form (10), and one or more arms (7) have connectors that connect to corresponding connectors integrally formed on the wall units (2, 3). The center form (10) may partition the cavity between the inner (3) and outer (2) wall units into two or more cavities (3b), which may then be partially filled with, for example, insulative material or load-bearing materials, such as concrete.

    • The present invention relates to a composite modular building block (212) with a connective structure (210) between the outer and inner wall (214, 216). The inner and outer walls (214, 216) of the composite modular block units (212) may be made of cement, clay brick, or similar materials. The connective structure (210) is made of a different material than the walls of the composite block and may be formed per the requirements of each block. In one embodiment, the connective structure (210) may comprise two or more individual connective struts (218) connecting an outer and an inner wall (214, 216) of a modular block (212). A panel member cooperating with the struts (218) may be inserted between the outer and inner walls (214, 216) to form two separate cavities between the blocks when these are assembled into a wall.
